Seduction of the Guilty

It’s a very subtle seduction, hardly noticeable.

And this is where things get terrible.  If you think this is bad, wait until you see where we go with this.  This comic has always skated the NSFW label, but now we’re all in.

Comic Con SDCC 2013

So I wasn’t at SDCC this year.  I haven’t been there in several years, in fact.  Frankly, the whole thing seems like a giant cluster-f at this point.  Last time I was there, there were just over 100,000 people in attendance and now it’s well over that.  As someone who tends to hate humanity in general and large crowds in specific, it doesn’t seem like the event for me.  If someone payed my way, or I was nominated for an Eisner, or some other such thing that seems extremely unlikely, I’d probably go again.  For now, I like to stick to smaller shows, like Wizard World Chicago in a few weeks.

WWC is going to be special not only because Chondrion is coming with me, not only because I’m sharing a table with the amazing Brian Defferding, but I’ll also have a new Freaks N Squeeks book with me!  Yeah, it’s a stealth release of the next FNS book.  It’s the book after Sad Little Life, which contains the comics about Tex leaving, the haircuts, the zombies, and some other stuff.  It’s some of my favorite FNS strips.  There wasn’t a preorder for this one, and they won’t be on sale online until after Chicago, so the best way to get one is to see me there!  For now, here’s a desktop-sized version of the cover to the new book.
